Open Studios is the perfect opportunity to discover new work fresh from the makers’ benches. This summer, Cat Hart will be unveiling her new EARTHQUAKE collection, while Susan McLeod presents Fallen Relics, a series of contemporary jewellery composed from unearthed stones, gathered forms, and forged textures. Visitors can also be among the first to see Malaika Carr‘s new collection, The Valley of the Queens, a colourful range inspired by ancient treasures – perfect for summer.

Before visiting Open Studios, why not get to know some of the makers you’ll meet over the weekend? Several Cockpit jewellers have recently been featured in the Financial Times, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship and innovation taking place across our studios.

Textile artist Leah Jensen is the latest guest on the Material Matters podcast, where she reflects on how stitching became a daily act of survival, documentation, and repair. Meanwhile, ceramic artist Joanne Lamb is celebrating the publication of her first article in In Her Studio magazine, sharing a glimpse into her creative practice.
