In this weaving workshop for beginners you will discover the meditative craft of shaft loom weaving in this intimate workshop. You’ll learn the foundations of weaving while creating your own unique textile piece. Working with pre-warped looms and choosing from a carefully curated selection of beautiful yarns in an array of colours.
Even if you’re a complete beginner, this gentle introduction to weaving offers a supportive environment where you can explore at your own pace. As you work with the rhythmic motion of the loom, you’ll find yourself naturally settling into this ancient craft.

About the Maker
Charlotte Grierson has an MA in Textiles and is a handweaver with 30 years of experience. She designs and makes her own functional and art-led work from her studio at Cockpit in Deptford.
